Women's Cross Country Wins Fourth Consecutive GLVC Championship

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø women's cross country team tallied 40 points en route to capturing their fourth consecutive GLVC Women's Cross Country Championship and seventh overall in program history.
Along with his teams successes, head coach was named the GLVC Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year as well. The Flyers claimed two of the top three places in the 6k as junior (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) came in second (21:38.62) and senior (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) rounded out the top three (21:39.76). Maddie Miller-Ross of UIS won the conference's individual championship with a final time of 21:35.04. The Flyers tallied two more top-10 finishes as well with (Rochester, Ind./Rochester Community) (22:04.43) and (Frankfort, Ill./Lincolnway East) (22:10.11) landing in eighth and 10th respectively. Freshman (Williamsville, Ill./Williamsville) rounded out the Flyers scoring runners as she placed 17th with a time of 22:36.45. All five runners collected All-GLVC honors as well.Still, they were not the only 91³Ô¹ÏÍø runners to earn all-conference accolades as junior (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) placed 18th (22:38.42) and junior (Charleston, Ill./Charleston) finished 19th (22:41.03) to land within the top 20 to earn the accolade.
